Eminem is a rap singer, actor, producer, Oscar winner.

Born Eminem October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph of Missouri. The father left the family when Marshall was not even a year old. Since then, the boy and his mother have moved a lot, lived with relatives. Then the family settled in Detroit, but there Marshall was not easy – he often changed schools, got into fights. Fascinated by rap, Marshall already at the age of 13 came up with songs, and at 15 founded his own band.

After leaving school Eminem has tried a little bit paid work, acted on radio. And in 1995 he joined the group “Soul Intent”. The following year, the first album “Infinite” was released in the biography of Marshall Mathers, which did not become particularly successful. But the rapper continued his work.

Having started cooperation with Dr. Dre, Eminem released a disc – “Slim Shady LP”. Then he signed a contract with Aftermath Entertainment. In 2001, Eminem’s biography received three Grammy awards. Also the singer became a member of the band “D12”. In 2002, the album “The Eminem Show” was released, in 2004 – “Encore”.

As an actor, Marshall made his debut in 2000 in the movie “Da Hip Hop Witch”. Then in 2001 he played in the movie “The Wash”. Great success was achieved with the film “8 Mile” in 2002, and for the song “Lose Yourself” Eminem received an “Oscar”. After some stagnation in the work, in 2009 Eminem again declared himself, singing along with 50 cent, Dr. Dre.
