Do I have to conquer nature?

Indeed, why conquer nature? And is it not subdued? Man managed to completely subordinate it to himself. Nearly?

Yes. The man forced the water to work for himself by building hydroelectric power stations on the rivers. I learned to put out fires, to tame the fire. Man regularly “exploits” the earth, sowing and harvesting something. And even the air he learned to drive out of a certain space, when he wanted to get a vacuum. Once upon a time a man tamed animals. Now he is testing medicines on some of them. Some of them train and show in the circus, some breed and sell, some kill because of valuable skins or bones. And only a few people do not touch.

And everything is not enough for a man…

Nature forgives much, but not all. And now they come out from the banks of the river, from the strong heat burn forests, there are crop failures, volcanoes erupt, people trained animals rush to their masters…

Is it because of this that for a long time people lived on the principle “we have nothing to wait for favors from nature” and took these mercy forcibly? Nature gives us its resources, its wealth. Allows them to use. Although I completely empty myself, I think she will not allow it. Nature will put a person in place when trying to subordinate it to someone else’s will. Man did not create nature, not to conquer it.
