Our president
The word “president” in Latin means “sitting in front”. The president manages the state, monitors compliance with the laws of the constitution.
At the beginning of his career Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev worked as a
steelworker. December 1, 1991 by voting Nursultan Nazarbayev was elected President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Thanks to perseverance and great efforts he became the first President of our country.
Nursultan Abishevich did a lot for our state. Thanks to him, symbols of independence appeared in our country: a coat of arms, a hymn and a flag. He created the People’s Democratic Party “Nur Otan”, and also introduced the use of the national currency – tenge. The merits of Nursultan Nazarbayev to their people are invaluable. Kazakhstan before its independence did not appear on the world map as a separate country, only thanks to Nazarbayev the whole world learned about it and about our people. Thanks to Nursultan Abishevich, a city like Astana appeared in our country.
Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan, very beautiful and modern. Every inhabitant and guest of the city is proud of his sights, which symbolize the independence of freedom and development of our state.
