What is the ethics of relations between peoples in a democratic society

In the vastness of Ukraine people live for many millennia. They are representatives of different nations and nations. The belonging of a person to a nation or nation is called Nationality.

Our country is called Multinational because Ukrainians, Russians, Byelorussians, Bulgarians, Moldovans, Romanians, Hungarians, Germans, Poles, Tatars, Crimean Tatars, Karaites, Greeks, Jews, Albanians, Gagauz, Gypsies live in Ukraine for a long time; all of them are representatives of about 130 nationalities. Close and long-lasting political and economic ties, common interests formed a sense of belonging to the Ukrainian people among representatives of different nationalities and nations living on its territory. The majority of the population of Ukraine are Ukrainians, but representatives of other peoples are citizens of Ukraine and, accordingly, have the same rights and duties as Ukrainians. None of the citizens of the state can have more or less rights than others, because of their national

origin.

Since representatives of different peoples speak different languages, profess different religions, have their own particular traditions and customs, a democratic state should provide them with the right to preserve all this. For example, it goes without saying that citizens of Ukraine should know the state language and strive for it. On the other hand, the rights of different peoples and nations for the education of children, the publication of literature, the creation of television or radio broadcasting in the native language for each people are also legitimate. Not recognizing such rights of representatives of each nationality means creating the ground for conflicts, and consequently, a threat to the unity of the state and peace in society.

In order to resolve issues related to relations between peoples living in Ukraine, it is not enough only to regulate this problem through the law. In civil society, one of the basic moral rules in relations between peoples and at the same time for social harmony is the rule – to be tolerant, tolerant.

Multinational – consisting of many nations, created by different nations.

The people – the entire population, all residents of a particular country or part of the inhabitants, connected by a common language, traditions and culture.
