What is she – the profession of a social worker?

It happens so hard that sometimes you want to give up everything, go on vacation and forget yourself. But… time passes, and you start to miss the dear, elderly people, worry about their health. You go to them, and you yourself catch yourself thinking that you’re just rushing to find out: alive, healthy, what was yesterday, what problems, how can I help. You open the door and you see them, but on your soul it is calm and joyful: alive, healthy, and problems – trifles, we will solve.

You will not see such enthusiasm in any profession simply because you came. And at this time you feel proud that you have overcome the first difficulty – you have won the love and trust of the elderly.

How difficult it is to carry full, unbearable bags with groceries, stand long lines in shops, pharmacies, hospitals. You feel like a marathon runner when you run to various institutions and institutions. You do not run for yourself, but for others. And you have eight others!

It’s

hard on the soul, when it’s not glued, does not coalesce, it’s not possible.

But it is now. Tomorrow everything will turn out.

What happiness, when everything that I wanted to do is done! It turned out, found, achieved! I bring pleasant news to the ward and I hear words of gratitude. They love me, they believe in me, they trust me. And as a result of his work: a letter of thanks from the Governor of the Kurgan region! And you are proud of the fact that the work you are applying is valued, what people need and is necessary, is proud of your chosen profession, which teaches to be attentive, noble, tactful and courteous.

And how not creative? My work is a constant reincarnation from one image to another, playing a thousand roles and changing a lot of scenery. And not only! My work – a game in a variety of genre films, written by one director – LIFE. In one day you can become a psychologist, a doctor, a rescuer, a postman, a hairdresser. And the role must be played in such a way that the elderly people believe, open, let into their hearts.

– So why do I love my profession?

-I love that my profession gives an opportunity to manifest myself, to know the world around me, to be in the thick of events, to come into contact with the experience of older people, to come into contact with history and to be the thread that does not let break the connection between the past and the future. Links of generations.

I’m proud of my profession!

I am a social worker!
