The work “Spiritual values”
People always wish their relatives, friends and friends happiness. And on holidays, and on weekdays a sincere wish sounds: “Let you be lucky!” – and at once warmed to the soul, as to be happy is the cherished dream of everyone. And, they say, happiness very choosely chooses a person, first of all, given his spiritual qualities.
You can be a materially wealthy person, but feel unhappy, because in your soul, filled with the desire for prosperity, there is no room for good anymore. But you can not have a lot of money, but still be happy, because your soul wants to help, protect both a loved one and a stranger, to admire the beauty of nature and create beauty yourself, respond warmly to someone else’s pain and share the joy of victory. In a word, have a sincere and beautiful soul to be useful, and not go through life gray shadow. But, I think, first of all, for this it is necessary to be very exacting to yourself and to your own actions.
… For a long time our ancestors have made a symbolic system of spiritual values, which is passed on from generation to generation. Over time, it changes, is supplemented, but human kindness, decency, sense of dignity, love for the native land and its people, industriousness, meek care of small and old, the opposition to evil remain always the main ones… It is possible to recalculate for a very long time those qualities that make a man a Man. And I am sure that goodness is their mother, their foundation. Her parents give us from the first minutes of her life, then – teachers, teachers, strangers. This kindness becomes like a soul in the soul, on which all other spiritual values coalesce. And now, when kindness becomes your inspiration and a star-pointer, you can sincerely confess to yourself and others: “I am a happy man!”
