The Painting Vrubel “Pearl shell”
One of the outstanding Russian painters is Vrubel Mikhail Alexandrovich. His paintings are impregnated with miracles and fairy-tale things leave no one indifferent. The author’s picture “Pearl shell”, known to many as “Pearl” shows a unique artistic image and vision of the world by the artist. Many compare it to the inner world of the author himself, as he perfectly combines reality with miracles.
The canvas shows us a large funnel in which the entire marine world is visible. Under the funnel, the author painted a huge shell with its beautiful overflows and flickering. The shell itself is already a miracle of the sea. Its beautiful curves and forms, fascinating colors and radiated sound from its depth. This is already fascinating and amazing. But, then, as the author showed her depth and inner peace is simply excellent. Flushed in tons of shell sea nymphs. They slowly swim in a circle and throw their playful gaze at the viewer. Also in the outlines of purple-emerald walls, silhouettes of other marine inhabitants and their king are seen.
The author wanted to show the world that we hear from the depths of the shell and we never see it. This is the artist’s imagination, which he wanted to show everyone. If you flip the picture along, then the shell resembles the outline of a person’s ear. So he shows how wonderful and mysterious the world we can hear.
