To understand just how morality affects our actions and behavior, remember or imagine such a situation: the student collective takes part in celebrations on the occasion of the jubilee of the school. Participants of the holiday are students, teachers, parents, and other adults – graduates, employees of enterprises and institutions with which the school cooperates. All gathered in the schoolyard.

A scenario should be prepared for the event, where rules for each and everyone will be provided. These are not only words and roles, but also prescriptions concerning the placement of classes and groups of guests in the courtyard, the sequence of holding and completing the holiday, instructions in case it rains, etc. The holiday will be successful if each participant knows his role, , why the event is organized, create an appropriate mood, that is, not only will not interfere, but, on the contrary, will imbue with a common action. Morality is the general scenario, the general program that enables people to live in peace and harmony.

Since the life of each person consists of various situations, actions, reflections, searches, achievements and losses, morality should be understood as the most general rules. That’s why sometimes morality is compared with a guide that helps a person to navigate in the seething sea of life, not to make mistakes in the choice of good. The rules of morality are often called unwritten laws. The embodiment of moral precepts in the behavior of people and in the relations between them is called morality.
