Composition “Meeting in the Forest”
Once, my friend and her father were walking through the forest. The time was approaching in the evening, and we decided, after sitting for a while, to go home. And suddenly my friend and I almost shouted with a fright. In the bushes, a few meters away from us, a gray wolf’s back flashed and we saw a wolf, huge, gray, run forward in the forest, as if not noticing us.
I was very surprised and frightened, but my friend’s father Alexander Stepanovich reassured us: “It was not a wolf, just a dog like a wolf.” Then, having calmed down, I asked why this dog walks here, so far from people. And Alexander Stepanovich told me such a story.
It was winter. The forest warden, who was looking after this forest and lived nearby, went fishing early in the morning and decided on the way to go into the woods to see how things were going. Already leaving the forest, the man heard a low whine. He listened. Scavulin was heard because of the huge, snow-drenched trees. The forest ranger hurried there and behind the tree in the snow he saw a small puppy, which was very cold. The man, without wasting time, grabbed him and hid him in the glove and quickly ran home.
Having run, he put the puppy and began to warm it. Puppy warmed, survived. The forester nurtured and raised it. A huge gray dog grew out of a small weak puppy, who forever remained faithful to the forester, that saved him from death. This dog lives with a forester, and walks in the forest during the day. Everyone knows him and no one is afraid. And his name is simple – Wolf, because he is very similar to him.
Hearing this story, my friend and I sat for a while, and then we were happy and happy for the Wolf went home. And all the way I thought about how good it is that there are people in the world who love, guard animals and help them in difficult times.
