Biography of John Daly


John Daly, a golfer, was born on April 28, 1966 in the town of Cermichael, California. Biography of John Daly is known as one of the popular golfers. His motto is “Grab and grease”.

John Daly came to professional golf in 1991 as a storm: he appeared out of nowhere and immediately won the championship of the Association of Professional Golf in Indiana. At the same time he was called the rookie of the year. The big, well-beating athlete quickly became the favorite of the Golf Association for his powerful punches, the simple philosophy of “grip it and rip it”. Also quickly, he became a controversial, dubious figure in the sport due to his drinking habit, to get involved in gambling.

He defeated his unpredictable game, winning in 1995 the title of “British Open”. Then, suffering six years from a bad game, a personal disorder the athlete finally won the International Open Golf Competition BMW in Munich in 2001. Back in February 2004, in the circle of winners of the Association of Professional Golf, Daley wins the Buick Invitational competition. In 2006 in the biography of John Daly was published a very open work “My life in difficult times and after them.”

Additional information: Daley was married four times. In October 2006, he and his fourth wife Sherry were filed for divorce. In 2003, Sherry, as well as her parents, were accused of using drugs. In addition, they carried large expenses for gambling. Sherry along with his parents were accused, later punished for the distribution of cocaine, marijuana, amphetamine. At the same time, they laundered money from 1996 to 2002 through local banks. All these events occurred before the establishment of relations with John Daly. So the athlete was not involved in such unlawful actions. Sometimes the personality of John Daley is compared with Babe Ruth.
