The Art of Communication

Human speech is a great gift of nature, but this does not mean that everyone has a talent for communication from birth. After all, we can not disagree with the fact that the mere ability to speak and gesticulate can not make a person a perfect companion. And in order to achieve high success in the art of communication, it is necessary to have an unusually thin and unmistakable flair, remarkable intellect and good intuition.

Mistakenly believes the one who puts communication in dependence on his own monologue and, reaching certain heights in oratory, completely sincerely complains about the lack of proper attention to the interlocutor, forgetting that communication is first and foremost the ability to listen and hear his counterpart, giving his words and gestures the utmost respect.

Indeed, it is difficult to call a good interlocutor of someone who tries to play a leading and even authoritarian role in any dialogue, whereas a genuine ability to communicate always implies delicacy and compromise.

It is also known that not always the main meaning of the conversation lies on the surface and is pronounced aloud. A truly skillful dialogue is a whole complex of words and gestures, facial expressions and views. Mastering the skill of communication can only be a shrewd person who has a sincere desire to improve himself.

However, this does not mean that such communication skills are available only to the most experienced and elderly interlocutors. An impeccable dialogue can also be learned as an erudite and diligent reader of classical literature, whose authors were known not only as the greatest masters of the word, but also as true connoisseurs of the human soul.
