Painting “Maksimova” All in the past “
In front of me is Maximov’s painting titled “All in the Past,” in the foreground we see two elderly women: the lady and her assistant. In the street a warm and clear spring day, the lady decided to enjoy the rays of the tender sun. She sits on a soft armchair, behind her is a large pillow and under her feet, too, this highlights her significance and superiority. The woman is calm, as the name of the picture says, everything in her past, she lived all the brightest moments of her life, and created a family, gave birth to children, and rebuilt the house. Now she is waiting for peace and quiet, on such a fine day she decided to drink tea in the bosom of nature.
Probably, the picture captures May, because the lilac bushes are fragrant, emitting a unique aroma. Swallows fly high in the clear and languid sky. Next to the lady sits on the step of her assistant, a woman of the same age as her mistress. She is knitting something, talking in parallel, probably these women
Next to them stands a samovar, from which they drink tea. A mistress lies beside the mistress, he is also no longer young, he lies calmly and warms himself. It symbolizes loyalty and devotion. They sit on the background of a log house, we see only a part of it, open windows are wide open, fresh and clean air saturates their rooms.
The picture shows a green spring, a new grass has grown, the mother-and-stepmother and dandelions have blossomed, they decorate the spring meadow with their brightness and beauty. Filling the air with a pleasant aroma. In the background, we see a two-story house, with interesting columns and a balcony, once it was beautiful and rich. Now no one lives in it, windows are boarded up, it has become dilapidated and abandoned.
The painting evokes tranquility and tranquility, it is well documented silence and serenity. Probably, many dream of such old age, when you can lie in the sun and not think about anything.
