“My Motherland – Dagestan” composition
There is a tiny piece on the world map that is very dear to my heart. And no matter how fate decreed, and wherever the road of life takes me, this place will always be the most desired for me. This is my native land – my Dagestan!
Dagestan is rich in its traditions, customs and rituals. There historically there was an original ethics and culture of behavior, which was traditionally based on the moral and ethical principles of religion. A careful, respectful and caring attitude to the older generation is the main spiritual value in the culture of behavior among all the peoples of Dagestan. This tradition has inherited from the past generations and is carefully preserved by the Dagestanis in our time!
Everybody knows that Dagestan is historically the most multi-ethnic republic. In this small territory there are more than 60 nationalities, among which about 30 are considered indigenous peoples. The main population consists of Avars, Dargins, Kumyks, Lezgins, Russians,
Always amazed and admired how so different cultures are intertwined for centuries. And there is no malice: representatives of one nation compose anecdotes about neighbors, note some peculiarities, but this does not prevent them from respecting each other and coexisting as a single entity, being citizens of the Republic of Dagestan. Perhaps this is the most cherished Friendship of Peoples, to which the Soviet Union has long striven for unsuccessfully.
How and why there are so many nations in a small enough territory, historians have been arguing for decades. But one thing I know for sure
It turns out that Russian unites our multinational Dagestan! And this is exactly what we all need now – unity and solidarity!
Daghestanians (especially the older generation) cherish great gratitude to Russian teachers and doctors who worked selflessly in high mountain villages, where then there was no electricity, no roads, no radio. In the capital of Dagestan, Makhachkala, a monument to the Russian teacher was erected in token of the greatest gratitude to Russian teachers, the website of promo bags
In the highland village of Khushet my grandfather (in those years – Deputy Chief Physician for Surgery in Tsumadinsky district) installed a gravestone to the heroic Russian nurse Ace Denisenko, who died slipping from the rock when she went to the aid of a woman in labor through the serpentines of mountain roads in winter. About her made a documentary film “Peace I leave for you.” The Asi Denisenko Prize was awarded, which is awarded to nurses working in inspiration in difficult conditions of Dagestan.
In the village of Salta in the Gunib region, with the participation of the PFUR staff, a Monument of Reconciliation was established in connection with the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian surgeon and anatomist NI Pirogov.
Russian is my second native language, but in fact it is the only one that I know perfectly. I am an avarak, but to my great shame, my native Avar language is worse than English. And the Russian language has filled my life since my birth. It was in Russian that I was sung by a lullaby. It was in Russian that my grandfather read my first books to me. It was in Russian that I confessed my feelings to a girl from a parallel class. And now, being a student of the Russian Peoples Friendship University, I am proud to have many friends both among Dagestani compatriots and students from other corners of our vast Russia and foreigners. And believe me, a great role was played in this by our common Great Russian Language!
Of course, the Russian language is of great importance not only in my life, but, I think, in the life of each of us and the whole society as a whole.
In one of his interviews, the greatest Dagestani poet Rasul Gamzatov said: “Not every language is as widespread and powerful as Russian.” Thanks to my language, Russia gave me not only my own literature, but also Shakespeare, Moliere, Goethe, Tagore, Shevchenko. you can live an artist? There is no south without the north, and the south needs the south. I personally would have been without a Russian without the wings, I’m ready to bow to the Russian language. “
