In the campaign
Every journey is a touch to something significant and beautiful. So said the writer Konstantin Paustovsky. Begin to join in traveling best through hikes. My parents have long been on weekend hikes. I also often went with them. Especially I remember the star trekking, which we carried out this summer in the Leningrad region. Why was it called starry? Because several tourist groups came from different points and had to meet in one place. At that time it was the city of Pushkino.
At the meeting place at that time met more than a thousand tourists. During the campaign we competed with other families of tourists in the orientation on the terrain. This is very interesting: I began to understand better the azimuths and the map, different orienting methods without any adaptations.
But the most interesting thing was waiting for us at the end of the road. Under Pushkin in the place of the rally, various fun contests were held – on lighting fires, preparing dinner for speed, running on rough terrain and others.
Then there were songs of bards with a guitar at the big fire, performances of poets and professional singers. In general, it was very interesting, and I’m unlikely to be able to forget this star trek. I have matured, rested, matured and learned more about how to live interesting and fun!
