Golden Autumn essay

About autumn they often say: golden autumn. Why, it is not difficult to guess: the leaves on the green trees are repainted in a variety of shades of gold and gold. Yellow ocher, red copper, greenish brass, brown bronze, pale yellow and orange-yellow gold – these colors are primarily reminiscent of autumn. You will look at the forest, which is all painted in such shades and involuntarily you will think: yes, golden autumn. It’s really a very beautiful time, maybe the most beautiful in the year. In any case, many artists are especially fond of writing exactly the autumn landscapes. This theme gives them the richest choice of colors.

It is a pity that this time is not long. If the calendar autumn lasts three months, then the golden autumn – when all the trees are yellow – only two or three weeks. And, now, having pleased the eye with pure golden hues, the leaves suddenly begin to fall off quickly. The foliage that has remained on the trees thinens daily, the deciduousness intensifies. The earth also becomes covered with gold, this gold – fallen leaves – rustles underfoot. And the mood is a little sad from the fact that this beauty is so short-lived.

The more leaves on earth, the less of them on trees. And one day leaves on the trees will not remain at all, only black bare trunks. This is also still autumn, but not gold.
