Painting of Simbirin “Poet G. Tukay”
Work on the portrait always required painters extra strength and attention. After all, it was necessary to display the human soul, its power and significance, which prompted the artist to take up the brush and try to decipher all the hidden signs of the personality of his hero. The painting “The Poet G. Tukai” is one of those significant works that are filled with symbolism and the truth of life. I like her performance, which E. Simbirin used. And the image of the poet for me has become much closer and more understandable.
The canvas depicts a young man. He is modestly dressed in a plain white shirt with an open collar and loose sleeves. He wears a dark, stern vest. This looks like a young student or a schoolboy, but not a famous poet. But the person speaks so much about the bitter experience and the numerous knowledge that brought sadness. There is a certain sense of doom, which is seen in an acute look. The character seems to know something that brings him terrible pain. Does it relate to his people, or the news of his own illness, which will soon take the life of the poet? But life is not a pity to lose to him. Judging by the firm gaze that carried his thoughts away, Gabdulla Tukay was terribly sorry to say goodbye to the dream of what else he wanted to do, but did not have time. A beautiful face with a short boyish haircut,
E. Simbirin for a full understanding of the viewer image of a young but powerful Tatar poet gave him the opportunity to take his favorite pose. Gabdulla is depicted sitting on a chair, leaning on his back, thanks to this, you can see the hands. Another method, which, in my opinion, gave the picture a fascinating view – a background sketch. In the background, the fire is burning, as if the restless soul of a young man does not want to put up with difficulties and injustice. It glows, lighting its sincerity and strength all around.
