“I will not tire of watching that the Eternal Fire does not go out”

Everyone who respects himself and his homeland remembers about that terrible war that took thousands of lives. Each family has lost a native person, and we should be grateful to those people who have won our country and the lives of future generations. If it were not for their exploit, we would not have been born at all, maybe our country would become a clean scorched field. Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, forgetting about the danger and sacrificing their lives, went into battle to prevent the enemy from capturing native lands. Fought not only adult men, but also adolescents, many of whom deliberately concealed the true age to be at the front.

It seems to me that the modern youth is not capable of such a feat. Now people live every man for himself and can hardly sacrifice their lives for the sake of saving others. People grinded something. Now there are few courageous and brave people who are ready to help, sacrificing themselves. What can you say about human lives? Modern people for the salvation of another person will regret even material benefits. If there were people in those same war years who were the same as now, then I hardly believe that we would have won in this war. I’m proud that we had such ancestors, and we just have to remember their exploit.

We must honor their memory and watch the graves and graves of the dead soldiers. The eternal fire must constantly burn in all cities, reminding the inhabitants of that terrible and merciless time. Even hundreds of years later, our grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the next generation should also like us to respect and remember those brave soldiers who have won the peaceful sky over their heads. At least once a year, on a holiday that our people love so much, we must, in memory of the dead, come to eternal fire and put flowers. Let the eternal fire burn forever, so that people will never forget about those who literally gave us life.
