Composition on Perov’s painting “Sharman”
The famous artist Perov, according to historians, had his own technique for drawing pictures. In their opinion, he had an excellent vision of human concerns, and problems. He was both a philosopher and a psychologist. He sought to fill his paintings with feelings of empathy, to show bored on the other side, and draw attention to this. Acknowledgment of this is the picture “Sharman”, which he wrote in 1863. It depicts a man, he sits on a bench made of stone. The organ-grinder looks into the distance, he thinks about it and tries to understand what to expect tomorrow, what will give him a new day. Next to him lies an old faithful friend of his, a barrel organ who fed him.
Perov realistically conveyed the mood of the organ-grinder that the spectator involuntarily begins to empathize with the hero and is ready to rush to the rescue. The man has a diffused look and very beautiful eyes. It seems to me that the author wanted to portray his own. hero during the rest, probably at the beginning of the second half of the day. The sunny sky and the shot of the organ-grinder tells about the approach of noon. The background of the painting, Perov drew a wall, embodying the hopeless hopes and dreams of the organ-grinder. You can think up the end of the plot yourself, for example, I decided that the organ-grinder is thinking about making a decision that can change his life.
In general Perov’s picture showed us not an event, but human sufferings and experiences. Not everyone can see what’s in the soul. We have ceased to believe in good, everywhere we search for a dirty trick and self-interest. We do not trust people, we are afraid to be deceived. And Perov’s picture gives us answers to all the questions. Opening the human soul and provoking sympathy and understanding that we are not alone, and it is worth helping each other. Today you will help me, and tomorrow, as a token of gratitude, I will save you.
