Composition of the book
Seven wonders of the world were created by people in antiquity, but there is another miracle of the world, no less amazing. It is familiar to each of us, but we are so used to this creation of mankind that we rarely think about its value. A miracle is always at hand and, like a true friend, is ready at any moment to come to the rescue, teach, advise, tell. This is a book.
The book is the source of knowledge, information, education. They have surrounded us since birth. In the beginning it is “babies” with a lot of color pictures, fairy tales, riddles, they help the child to think, and then say the first words. The baby grows, and books grow up,
We learn that on our planet there are fields, mountains, forests, seas. We know the world: we see how the days and nights change, autumn and winter, spring and summer. The book gives us answers to thousands of “why?”. For example, “why do stars shine?”.
Reading enriches memory with new knowledge,
But books not only teach us, but they bring up. The book is a wonderful world of transformations, through which we “see” others’ pain, suffering, joy, happiness. It teaches us to distinguish between good and evil, bad from good. We turn to her for advice, entertainment and comfort, in joy and in sorrow. As the writer Victor Hugo said: “The book is friends: impassive, but true.”
The book is our only teacher, with whom we do not part our whole life.
Remember, my friends,
That you can not live without books!
Though half the world around,
Better than a friend you will not find.
Books are true friends!
Books are our true friends.
Books treasured pages
They help people to live,
And work, and learn,
And the homeland cherish.

Reading enriches memory with new knowledge, ennobles the soul. This is said by Russian folk proverbs: “One book teaches thousands of people”, “With books to be known – Uma to be typed”. Reading strengthens literacy, instills a taste for good words, love for one’s native language.
