Compassion and sympathy composition
Compassion, empathy are those qualities that not everyone has, but somehow they arise in any person throughout his life. They are caused by a situation that seems to us compassionate, sad and there is a desire to help a person. These situations are different, they can concern any sphere, any period of life and in importance can be either small or serious enough. In any case, if a person has a feeling of compassion, then he wants and is ready to help.
So, for example, a mother, seeing her baby crying, wants to hug him, kiss him and say how good he is. Similarly, seeing a crippled man begging, we have a choice – to help him or not. The choice is for everyone. One will pass by and will not even pay attention to the crash.. another will give a little money or a piece of bread.
Why is not everyone feeling compassion? does it speak of innate aggression or anger and infantilism? Yes and no. it is impossible to say unequivocally that those people who are not peculiar to worry
Talking about whether a person needs compassion, one can say that it is necessary as an impetus to mutual assistance, to support. Do not be indifferent to people who are in trouble or are experiencing not the best of their life. Perhaps it is your helping hand, your kind word that will enlighten and help your neighbor.
Do you need sympathy and compassion in your life? Everyone will answer this question: “Yes.” After all, every person has a heart that gives rise to compassion and compassion.
Empathy is a feeling when you express your sorrow, your pity. Many people sympathize with homeless cats, dogs. And some express compassion, that is, in addition to sympathy, they are still trying to help them. For example, homeless animals are taken to a shelter.
But people not only express sympathy and compassion to animals, but also to relatives and friends.
Man is destined to relate to the world around him with indifference. No matter
Now a lot of people do bad things with animals. Of course, this is very bad. Everyone should show compassion and compassion.
Very often on streets, in the underground and in other places it is possible to meet stray dogs and cats. Of course, all these animals shelter, feed and caress impossible. There are a lot of them! But people still try, open shelters or take them home. And, by doing such deeds, many gain happiness. Unfortunately, on Earth such people are few. There are also those who are indifferent to this, and there are those who harm animals. For example, it could be poachers or just ordinary people, Once I saw a man kick a dog for nothing, which lay quietly on the ground. Maybe this person had a bad day or something?
But where is the dog? She’s not guilty of anything. Looking at how this terrible person treats animals, it is impossible not to show sympathy and compassion. Fortunately, not all are so bad.
I would like to see so many good people, because doing good and helping others, we are doing good and helping the whole world.
How to learn one of the most humane qualities – compassion? Can this be taught? What should be real sympathy? These problems are raised in his article by a well-known publicist S. Lvov.
I will focus on the problem of active, effective compassion.
The urgency of this problem in our days is undeniable. Addressing a wide audience,
S. Lvov with restrained pathos, but, at the same time, uncompromisingly condemns the indifference of a person to other people’s troubles, suffering. The author gives a vivid example of selfless service to people – a story about an old doctor. This type of personality S. Lvov contrasts people of selfish, callous, heartless. Sooner or later, the author of the article believes, the insensitivity of a person will return as a boomerang (“as it does, it will respond!”).
Categorical reasoning of the author is justified by his firm moral position. Selfishness, moral deafness, lack of compassion “cruelly revenge for themselves,” the publicist believes.
The well-known prose writer, using parcellation (24-27 sentences), evaluative vocabulary (pathetic, helpless), the original metaphor (radio receiver – the human soul), draws the attention of us, the readers, to the immorality of human indifference. The article calls on everyone not to stay away from the human grief.
The position of the author is very clear: sympathy must be effective. It is necessary to come to the aid of those who need it, without waiting for the call. In the author’s opinion, compassion must be expressed in real terms.
And I can not disagree with him. In fact, co-suffering, co-feeling, co-experience are words of the same order. Co – means together, at the same time, together to overcome life’s hardships with those who are in desperate need of it. You are stronger and you can substitute your shoulder for the weaker – is this not the meaning of human co-existence? Otherwise, life will turn into existence (you just eat, you sleep, everything else does not concern you).
Recently I happened to read memoirs of contemporaries about Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. The noblest person… He never stayed away from human grief. Selfless work during the cholera epidemic, the construction of clinics for ordinary peasants, schools for peasant children, the constant care of numerous relatives, all those who addressed the famous writer, is not this an example of effective compassion.
Chekhov’s hero, doctor Dymov from the story “Jumping”, saves a patient with the diphtheria of a child at the cost of his own life.
Are there such people in our lives? In my own, though small, experience, I know that now most of us have egoism, spiritual callousness, indifference. It is not by chance that today the slang word “pofigism” reflects the vital position of modern youth, not its best part. People sometimes live by the principle “My hut with the edge – I do not know anything”. Otherwise, how to explain the fact, known to me from the telecast: the daughter expels his mother from home, dooms to vagrancy and calmly talks about this with journalists. A woman who gave life to this creature, slowly dies from the gangrene that has begun… The daughter does not feel either compassion or remorse. Who will teach such a person mercy? And how can you consider such a person as a Man?
