Uspensky Eduard Nikolayevich (born 1937), writer.
He was born on December 22 in Yegoryevsk, Moscow Region. After graduating from high school, he entered the Moscow Aviation Institute. In the student years he began to engage in literary creation, printed since 1960. The Institute graduated in 1961.
He became widely known as the author of children’s books: “Crocodile Gena and his friends” (1966), “Down the magical river” (1972), etc. His plays written together with R. Kachanov become very popular. “Cheburashka and his friends “(1970); “The Legacy of Bahram” (1973); “The release of the crocodile Genes” (1974), etc. Images of invented by him Cheburashka, crocodile Genes and other heroes love children of several generations. In 1976 he published a collection of poems “Everything is in order.” In 1980 – 90 he published a series of wonderful children’s books: “Vacations in Prostokvashino”, “Uncle Fyodor, Dog and Cat”, “Kolobok follows the trail”, “Colored family”, “Red Hand, Black Sheets, Green Fingers” (terrible stories for fearless children), “
Many books by Ouspensky have filmed cartoons that are very popular with children and adults.
