Biography of Margaret Atwood
Margaret Elinor Atwood is a Canadian writer and poetess, who was born in 1939. Her literary work addresses contemporary issues, such as: feminism, politics, the fate of Canada and Canadian literature, and the nature of mass society.
Her most famous novel, The History of Slaves, is an American anti-utopia about the emergence of the rule of religious extremists in the mid-21st century. Margaret Atwood is a qualified and powerful novelist, who sometimes uses such popular novels as genres to his novels: historical novel, detective story, fairy tale, and science fiction.
Among her other works can be identified such as: “Edible Woman”, “Surfacing”, “Bodily Injury”, “Bride-the Robber”, “Grace nicknamed”, “The Blind Assassin”, “Orix and Dergach”, and ” Penelopiad “.
Her collection of short stories includes: “Dancing Girls” and “Moral Chaos”. Margaret Elinor Atwood also wrote several volumes of poetry, including “The Circular Game,” “The Power of Politics,” and “True Stories,” as well as numerous essays.
