Biography of Diego Maradona
Diego Maradona – footballer, was born on October 30, 1960 in the city of Villa Fiorito, Argentina. Best known as the Argentine hero at the 1986 World Cup. We can say that Diego Maradona is Babe Ruth for Argentine football. A stocky, charming, hard-hitting athlete was in the lead among the other players of his country.
Biography Diego Maradona most of all I remember because of two goals scored in England in the quarterfinals of the 1986 World Cup. The first of these goals Maradona scored a hand, but the judge did not mention this. Later, the footballer said about this goal scored: “There was a little head in the blow, and if there was a hand, that’s God’s.”
At the world championships in 1982, 1986, 1990, 1994, Maradona brought his team the most points. More than two decades he played professional football. Among the clubs for which the athlete played during his professional career, were “Barcelona”, “Napoli”.
Career
In the photographs Diego looks flabby, and certainly unsportsmanlike. In 2004, he experienced a heart attack. But nevertheless, Maradona never lost the love of the public. In 2005, he opened his show on the Argentine television called “La Noche del Diez”.
