Biography of 50 Cent


50 Cent – rapper, entrepreneur, actor.

James was born on July 6, 1975 in New York. Childhood in the biography of 50 Cent was held in Queens, mostly with the parents of the mother – Sabrina Jones. When the mother died, James stayed with his grandmother. At the age of 11, I went in for sports – boxing, and at the age of 12 began to sell drugs. In 1994 he was detained by the police, sentenced to three years. Having obtained an early release, he took the pseudonym “50 Cent”.

Since then 50 Cent music has been given a place of honor. Acquainted in 1996 with Jay Masta Jay, began to record, structure and improve their songs. For the first time his voice officially sounded in the song of the band “Onyx”. And in 1999, 50 Cent signed with Columbia Records, and the following year released the first unofficial album. The song “How to Rob” significantly increased the performer’s popularity not only among listeners, but also in music circles.

In May 2004, an attempt was made in the biography of Curtis: eight bullets hit him. The rapper remained alive, but was hospitalized. The official debut album 50 Cent was released in 2003 – “Get Rich Or Die Tryin”, became very successful. The second album “The Massacre” was released in 2005, the third “Curtis” – in 2007.

Also 50 Cent finds time for business: he signed a contract with Reebok, voiced the heroes of video games. Also Curtis wrote a book, memoirs, starred in an autobiographical film. In 2009, his album “Before I Self Destruct” was released.
