Rat Timka
When we bought Timka in the market, I chose him for the beautiful bluish color of soft fur. Now the rat is a small member of our family. He’s all handy and very curious.
Timka loves to sit on my shoulder. First he sniffs my ear and neck, and then begins to look around – does not anyone want to treat the baby something delicious? Timka is a real beggar. He can eat full, but if he sees that I eat cookies, he will definitely ask. Krysenok most of all likes porridge, sweet cookies, greens, cucumbers, fish, seeds. He likes meat too, but my mother says that if you feed rats or mice with meat, they will become angry and aggressive.
Timka is a very clean animal. After a meal, he, like a cat, cleans and lickles his fur and palms. He very funny rubbed his head with his paws, carefully cleans the tail and back.
Our rat is a real acrobat. He moves so dexterously from the perch to the perch, runs along the ladder, climbs along the lattice of the cage, that sometimes it seems that we have a monkey. If Timka is frightened of something, he swoops to his cage and hides in the house. Only the curious nose and the tip of the tail stick out.
When the rat is eaten or tired, he falls asleep. If the house is cold, it curls up like a cat, and if heat – stretches on the floor of the cage. Then it seems that it is more than it really is.
Once Timka was lost with us. The whole family we searched for it for a long time and could not find it. I thought that the rat accidentally ran out into the porch and would not return. We found Timka by chance. He quietly slept on my bed, getting under the blanket and did not understand at all, because of what the noise was raised. I was very happy when Timka found himself.
