“Great Victory” composition

Every year, our country marks another peaceful spring, but time, front wounds and diseases are inexorable. Out of every 100 winners, only two remain alive today. And this sad statistics makes us, all those who were born after the victory, pay special attention, care and attention to every veteran of the Great Patriotic War. Every year these days a minute of silence is declared, three volleys of military salute are heard, and all of us at this moment think about our own, and in fact – about the same thing: mentally we remember our grandfathers and great-grandfathers who on the battlefield gave their lives for the sake of victory, for the sake of our life and our future.

The memory of ancestors – not only historical, but also direct representatives of our families – is the main wealth of our soul. After all, in order for us to live now and be what we are, many generations of people created our society, they made life as we saw it. And in ourselves – a direct

continuation of the moral, cultural, historical values of grandfathers and great-grandfathers. The memory of the departed is sacred: “Under every gravestone there is a world history,” as Heine said. Heroism of the warriors of World War II. We can not know everyone by name, but does it matter in the name? What these people accomplished does not need comment.

Even without knowing the names, we remember them with a kind word, and it is no accident that the largest number of flowers – a testament to the memory of the people and worship – it is at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. And the Eternal fire burns, confirming: “Your name is unknown, your feat is immortal!” All of them fought not for their own well-being, fought for the freedom of the Motherland, fought for the independence of the people. Therefore, they are immortal. After all, a person is alive until he is remembered.

This Victory Day

With gray hair on the temples.

With tears in his eyes.

It is unlikely that there will be a person whose heart does not contract with the sounds of this famous

song. No one person, a person who has a sensitive heart and a living soul, can not remain indifferent to this great day – Victory Day. In our life there are many holidays – bright, cheerful, solemn, exciting, great, but none of them can compare with the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.

It has long been this happy and exciting day in the history of our country, an outstanding day for all our compatriots. More than 60 years have passed since that heroic time. We can now imagine how much this day meant for our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, and we can not remain indifferent to the worried stories of eyewitnesses of those events – those few who have survived to the present day. Many years have passed since the day of the great Victory of the Soviet troops over the German-fascist invaders, but now the day of May 9 is celebrated with honor and pride by many, accompanied by solemn rallies and parades.

I’m sure that you can not forget about the importance of this day! In our family carefully store and transmit the memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War. Our great-grandfathers fought and lived to this happy May 1945. Unfortunately, now they are no longer alive, but letters, memories, photographs, awards have survived. When our grandparents with a special glint in their eyes and sadness in their voice tell us about those days, showing tarnished photographs of the past, we clearly imagine those events as if they themselves participated in, and are imbued with pride for their country.

Our information about the heroic exploits of those years in the rear and on the front lines, when the battle “not for glory, for life on earth” was everywhere, when the front line passed through the soul of each person, significantly complement the remarkable works of literature, art and cinema. After all, many of these works are created by witnesses and direct participants of those events. The memory of the heroic time is sacred and will live forever.

Victory Day is really a holiday “with tears in your eyes,” and it is in the hearts of all people, not just those who passed the war and participated in the 1945 Victory Parade. Again and again experiencing the joy of victory, people remember the hard times, the trials that fell to the lot of their brothers, sons who defended their land, but who were not destined to survive until Victory Day. Many lives were waged by the war, and therefore the joy of people inevitably mixed with the bitterness of loss.

Outstanding heroes of great historical events, participants in the turning points of history are our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Their time was the time of battles. They fought for our happiness, for us to live in peace and tranquility now. And therefore every year on May 9, our country, glorifying the heroes, expresses its gratitude and devotion to them. Representatives of military units march on the parades with a beautiful ceremonial system, cries of “hurray!” Sound. Before the admiring glances of the audience, the whole power of the country is demonstrated: the best military equipment, cars, missiles, tanks, weapons.

It is the duty of every person to save the memory of this outstanding day – the Victory Day.

Let those few participants of the Great Patriotic War who have survived to this day see, they know that their deeds, their exploits, the death of their comrades were not in vain, that the memory of them did not fade away, and the reflections of those war years will illuminate the path of new generations. And Victory Day will always remain a great day, the only holiday that is greeted with joyful sinking of heart and at the same time – with tears in your eyes.
