Tokareva Victoria Samoilovna (born 1937), writer, playwright.
Born November 20 in Leningrad in the family of an engineer. During the war the Tokarev family was evacuated to the Urals. After returning to Leningrad, the future writer graduated from the ten-year school, then entered the music school (1956 – 60).
Having married, she moves to her husband in Moscow, works in a music school (1961 – 64).
In 1964 – 69 he studied at the scenario department of VGIK. In these years begins to write stories. In 1964, Viktoria Tokareva’s first story, The Day Without Lies, was published. Then came other stories that aroused readers’ interest.
In 1969 the first book “On what was not” was published, which included already printed and new stories and stories.
In the future every five years the writer publishes another collection of stories and stories: “Nothing special”, “Flying swing”, “Say – do not say”, “Gentlemen of luck” and others. Tokareva wrote a number of screenplays, including “Mimino” (co-authored with R. Gabriadze), “Gentlemen of Fortune”, play “Northern Shelter”.
In recent years, published in various publishing houses, enjoying constant popularity with readers: collections of stories and stories “Bullfight,” “Do not create,” “Horses with wings,” “Happy End,” and others. The last story, published by Tokareva, is “Well, you know…”. V. Tokareva lives and works in Moscow.
