Jules Gabriel Verne is a French writer, geographer.

Born Jules Verne February 8, 1828 in the city of Nantes in the family of a lawyer. Education in the family with legal roots affected the biography of Jules Verne. In Paris, the future writer received legal knowledge. But in addition to law, Jules Verne was fond of literature. He wrote stories, comedies. For the first time his play was staged in 1850, and the first printed work was a novel from the series “Unusual Travels” in 1863. Vern was wounded with a pistol, so that he was confined to bed, but died of diabetes.
