Biography of Jules Verne
Jules Gabriel Verne is a French writer, geographer.
Born Jules Verne February 8, 1828 in the city of Nantes in the family of a lawyer. Education in the family with legal roots affected the biography of Jules Verne. In Paris, the future writer received legal knowledge. But in addition to law, Jules Verne was fond of literature. He wrote stories, comedies. For the first time his play was staged in 1850, and the first printed work was a novel from the series “Unusual Travels” in 1863. Since then, Vern has tried many professions, but he never stopped writing.
The first novel by Jules Verne brought him great success. Inspired by positive reviews, the writer continued to create adventure novels, impregnated with scientific miracles.
Vern constantly traveled: across the USA, the Mediterranean, traveled almost all of Europe. For his biography, Jules Verne wrote 66 novels, many novels, plays. In the works of Verne, the nobility of the heroes, the incredible journeys, the exact description of technology are woven.
A lot of Jules Verne’s novels have been filmed. Among his famous works are “Journey to the Center of the Earth”, “From Earth to the Moon”, “Children of Captain Grant”, “20 000 Leagues Under the Sea”, “Around the World in 80 Days” and many others. Vern was wounded with a pistol, so that he was confined to bed, but died of diabetes.
