Biography of Frank Zahn
Frank Zahn – American bodybuilder, winner of the competition “Mr. Olympia” 1977-1979, coach.
Born Frank on June 28, 1942 in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Education in the biography of Frank Zahn was received at the Wilkes University of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, which he graduated in 1964. Later, in 1977, Frank received a psychology specialty at the State University of California, in Los Angeles. Finally, he received his master’s degree in experimental psychology in 1990 at the State University of California in San Bernardino.
Professionally engaged in bodybuilding Zan became since 1961. Then he debuted at the contest “Mr. Pennsylvania”, becoming only 17th. Already in 1965, Frank became the first in the middle category at the “Mr. Universe” competition, and in 1966 and 1967 he was in first place in the same category at the “Mr. America” competition. The absolute winner of “Mr. America” was in 1968, repeated the achievement in 1972.
Before taking first place in the “Mr. Olympia” in 1977, Frank made several attempts to win the victory. But he became only fourth in 1972, second in 1974 and again second in 1976. The highest result in Frank’s sports career is a three-time victory in the “Mr. Olympia” competition: in 1977, 1978 and 1979. Later, in 1980, 1982, 1983 he occupied respectively 3, 2, 4 places.
Frank Zahn for his biography wrote a lot of books about bodybuilding. Since 1980, Frank coaches other athletes.
