Biography of Andrei Mironov


Andrei Alexandrovich Mironov – Soviet actor, People’s Artist of the RSFSR, was born on March 8, 1941 in Moscow in the family of artists.

In 1948 he began to study at the 170-school in Moscow. In 1950, in the biography of Andrei Mironov, the real name of Menkar was changed to protect against the anti-Jewish campaign. Already at school I showed an actor’s talent, took part in performances.

In December 1980 he was awarded the title People’s Artist of the RSFSR. August 14, 1987, the great actor Mironov died during the tour of his theater.
