White Bim Black Ear

Sentimental story of a dog devoted to the owner, suddenly in trouble.
Scottish Setter Bim, endowed with a white color, does not meet the standard of the breed, lives in an apartment with his owner, a single pensioner Ivan Ivanych. Ivan Ivanovich, a former journalist and now a philosophical hunter, loves his dog, and systematically takes her out to hunt in the forest.
Suddenly, the host has a heart attack, he is taken to an operation in Moscow, and the dog is assigned to a neighbor, but inadvertently jumps out of the apartment in search of the owner, and is on the street. Traveling without supervision, Beam meets a lot of people – good and evil, old and young – they are all described through the eyes of a dog, through the prism of her perception. Beam is exposed to a different attitude, from pity and attempts to help to cruelty. Due to a number of different reasons, no one manages to shelter it on his own on an ongoing basis. After many trials and almost waiting for the return of his master, Beam perishes, becoming a victim of betrayal and a conspiracy by a neighbor who wants to get rid of the presence in the yard of the dog. The owner has time to come for the dog to the shelter, where she was taken after the capture, but finds only the body of Bima on the spot.
