Biography of Arthur Conan Doyle
Arthur Conan Doyle is a writer, a doctor.
Born Arthur Conan Doyle May 22, 1859 in Edinburgh in a creative family. At the age of nine, thanks to the financial assistance of relatives in the biography of Conan Doyle, admission to the Jesuit College took place. Returning home in 1876 after graduating from college, Doyle started medicine.
The next level of education was Edinburgh University. There Arthur got acquainted with several writers, and he took up literary work. The first work in the biography of Arthur Conan Doyle was the story “The Secret of the Sasas Valley.” In 1880 Doyle went on board the whaling ship to the Arctic waters, and two years later traveled to the west of Africa.
After graduating from university in 1881, he began to practice. But 10 years later he devoted himself entirely to literature. In 1890, his novel Girdleston Trading House was published, which he wrote in 1884. Then came out: “Study in Scarlet Tones,” “The Secret of Klumber,” “Mika Clark,” “White Squad.” But the most famous series of works, if we consider the brief biography of Arthur Conan Doyle, was a series about Sherlock Holmes.
In 1900, Doyle participated in the Anglo-Boer War. His medical knowledge was useful – he was a surgeon. Then he published the work “War in South Africa”, engaged in publicistic activities. His story “Lost World”, “Poisoned Belt” was published. With the outbreak of the First World War, he wrote articles on military topics. In the 1920s, Doyle traveled a lot. July 7, 1930, the writer died of a heart attack.
