Biography of Alexander Abdulov


Alexander Gavrilovich Abdulov – actor, Honored and People’s Artist of the RSFSR.

Alexander Abdulov was born on May 29, 1953 in Tobolsk. Alexander’s father was an actor, so after graduation in the biography of Abdulov, at the insistence of his parents, an attempt was made to enter Shchepkin’s school. Not enrolling, Alexander began to study at the sports faculty of the Pedagogical Institute. But a year later he became a student of GITIS.

Actor’s debut in the biography of Alexander Abdulov took place in 1974. After graduation he began to play in the company of Mark Zakharov. The most famous theatrical roles of Abdulov are in the plays “Juno and Avos”, “The Barbarian and the heretic”.

Filming Abdulov in the biography began in the 1970s. But he got fame after the film “Ordinary Miracle”. Among other popular films of Abdulov: “Do not part with your loved ones”, “Genius”, “Carnival”, “Look for a woman”, “The most charming and attractive”, “Keep me, my talisman”, “Master and Margarita” and many others. In 1986 he received the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and in 1991 – the People’s Artist.

For his biography, Alexander Abdulov was married three times – on Irina Alferova, Galina Lobanova, Julia Meshina. In 2007, Abdulov was operated on, then was in intensive care because of exacerbations with the heart, and later the artist was diagnosed with lung cancer. On January 3, 2008, Abdulov passed away.
