Biography André Agassi
Andre Agassi – tennis player, was born April 29, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Best known as tennis champion and husband Steffi Graf.
Agassi is one of the greatest players in the history of tennis. For two decades in the biography of Andre Agassi the athlete has turned from a young student with luxurious hair to a majestic, wise master.
He started playing professional tennis in 1986. For two years, Agassi won more than 2 million prize money. Throughout the 1990s, men’s tennis clearly showed the rivalry between Agassi and Pete Sampras. Agassi’s vulgar clothing, his stylish hair, and the position of the “bad boy” were the absolute contrast of Sampras’s steady, correct and clean game. In 2005, at the age of 35, the athlete lost at the US Championships to Roger Federer. As a result of diseases of the back, Agassi left the sport, leaving after the defeat in the third round of the 2006 US championship.
Additional information: From 1997 to 1999, Agassi was married to actress Brooke Shields. In 2001, the sportsman married tennis player Steffi Graf, they have two children. Sister Agassi married a professional tennis player Pancho Gonzales. The father of the athlete – Emmanuel “Mike” Agassi was the Olympic boxer of Iran in 1948, 1952 before emigrating to Chicago.
