What would I like to become and why?

I dream of becoming a welder. This is a very interesting and necessary work for people.

If you walk through the streets of the city, you can see at the construction site, as here and there, a blue star-flame flares up and goes out. Having met her in the courtyard, we immediately turn away: too bright, it is painful to look.

My uncle Kolya is a welder. I like to watch his work. Uncle Kolya puts on a canvas suit, mittens, and his face is covered with a mask with black glasses. He turns the tap, strikes a match – and clings a torch of blue flame from the torch. I also noticed two rubber hoses that stretch to the cylinders, and they contain compressed gas. In one – acetylene, in the other – oxygen. When working, gas jets mix and the flame becomes such that any metal can easily melt. If you need Uncle Kolya to firmly connect the steel sheets, he will tighten them more tightly, press against each other and light the burner. A dazzling flame melts the steel, and two leaves become one. Oxygen escapes from the burner, metal shines, and sparks fall. Minute, another – and the iron pipe is cut into halves. Another uncle knows how to work with electric welding. He explained to me,

Where only do not have to work welders! They help to weld bridges, ships, power stations, cars. Everywhere steel pipes of gas pipelines are connected to each other by master welders. And the river flows through the pipelines to the towns and villages, and we cook the food on blue fire.

I hope, my dream will come true, and in our family there will be a dynasty of welders.
