Ignatich is the bravest and successful fisherman. It seems that he has a flair for what kind of fish will be and at what time to go fishing. Sometimes his skills harm nature, because Ignatich is a poacher. By exterminating the fish, forcing villagers “to waste” to go fishing, he is still afraid of being caught by fish surveillance, for which he will receive a very large fine. Ignatich is very greedy, which is what made him want to catch more fish. This was a fatal feeling during the meeting with the king-fish. our eyes, the sight was terrible.” Sam Ignatich is a little shocked by the size of this sturgeon, he is surprised at how he managed to grow to such a large size, if you did not have to eat anything other than algae. As soon as Ignatich himself saw a sturgeon, he realized that he himself could not cope and cope with it, she really did not like him. Ignatich thought: “If you call for the help of your brother, you will have to share something you really do not want.” In fish, about two buckets of caviar. I do not want to give you three eggs, either. Here Ignatich himself was ashamed for what he thinks. But soon greed was transferred to excitement, and to catch a sturgeon it wanted even more. Apart from gain, there was another reason that pushed the fisherman to go to such a big fish – interest. “Ah, I was not!” Thought Ignatich, “such a fish is very rare, and even then not everyone.” Time for fishing. Ignatich strikes the fish on the head with an ax. Very soon our fisherman is waist-deep in the water, and next to him was a fish, also wrapped in nets and fishing line. Ignatich
along with the fish now became one. They both face one thing – death. The fisherman does not want to die, but thinks he will have to, and already from despair talks to the fish. “I’m standing here, waiting for my brother. – says Ignatich. He wants to live, and, stepping over his greed, shouts: “Bra-ate-helen-i-i-ik.” Ignatich feels that death is not far off. Sturgeon tightly pressed his body to the body of the fisherman, from which a certain horror was experienced. He already knew that the sturgeon was squeezing because death was waiting for them. And then the man sweeps his whole life before his eyes. Not touching interesting and pleasant thoughts, the fisherman understands that many problems of life were due to the fact that he was a poacher. Rybak realized that such fishing would be a long burden on his shoulders. Here, and remembered the grandfather, instructing young inexperienced fishermen: “And if you guys have some kind of sin on the soul, lying stone, never deal with the king-fish, and if they caught that let her go free!”. It was these words that made Ignatich think. And so what is his sin? It turns out that a serious crime lies on his shoulders. He abused the feeling of the bride, having committed a misdemeanor that has no forgiveness, and the case of sturgeon is his punishment. Ignatich even asked forgiveness from that girl, which was once offended by him. It is after these words that a huge sturgeon breaks free from the fisherman and floats away into the abyss of water.
