Biography of Don Schul
Don Shula – American football coach, was born in the city of Grand River, Ohio. At birth in the biography of Don Shula, the name Donald Francis Shula was obtained.
At first Don played for John Carroll University. From 1951 to 1957, the athlete was part of the teams Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Colts, Washington Redskins of the National Football League.
Then, Don Shula was a coach at the universities of Virginia, Kentucky. And in 1960 he became assistant coach of the Detroit Lions NFL. In 1963, in Baltimore, Don was named the youngest NFL coach. After setting a record 71-23-4 in seven seasons with the “Colts”, Shula began to train “Miami Dolphins”.
