Carl Meloun – basketball player, was born July 24, 1963 in the city of Summerfield, Louisiana. Most known as the star of “Utah Jazz”, nicknamed “The Postman”.
For 18 years, Malone and quarterback John Stockton were the double stars of the Utah Jazz team. In 1985, “Utah” took over Karl from the Louisiana Technical University.
