Summary of the Blot Nikolay Nosov
NN Nosov
Blot
Boy Fedya Rybkin liked to make the whole class laugh, it was even a habit. Once he fought with Grisha Kopeikin because of the bottle of carcass. And accidentally one drop fell on Fedya’s forehead. He was angry at first, but when he saw that all the guys were laughing, he decided that this blot on his forehead was for the best.
The lesson began, and Fedya specially smeared with mascara. The guys roared with laughter. When the teacher noticed that Fedya did, she told him that the mascara was chemical, poisonous, and she would have blisters and sores. Fedya was frightened and the whole lesson rubbed his face with a blotter or a handkerchief, but nothing helped. He was frightened and raised his hand to get out and washed up, but the teacher did not let him go. Fedya was beginning to feel that her face was starting to itch, but the teacher said, “It’s okay, let it scratch, but then you will not be able to smear your face any other time.”
Fedya sat on tenterhooks and clung to his face all the time. At the break Fedya ran to wash himself. The whole face rubbed his face with soap. Then the whole week Fedya went serious: everything was waiting for the blisters on his face to jump up. But blisters never jumped, but this week Fedya even forgot how to laugh at lessons. Now he laughs only at the breaks, and even then not always.
