They began to talk, and the young man began to complain about his unfortunate fate: he studied for so many years, and everything vegetates without a great career. Then he began to sleep, and the elder offered him his head of green jade with holes at the sides. No sooner had the young man’s head bowed, as the lights dawned, the holes began to expand, and, entering inside, the young man found himself near his own house.
Soon he married, began to grow rich day by day, and then in the bureaucratic career succeeded. The emperor himself put forward him. Managing the province of Shen, Lu favored local farmers with an irrigation canal. Later he rose to the governor of the capital district.

However, with success in his life, envy came. Evil people made a lying deception on Lou, in which it was alleged that the young man was plotting to overthrow the emperor. So the young man was in prison. Then he first regretted that he had done so well in his service and had grown rich. Then Lou was acquitted and he managed to return to the service. He again began to climb the career ladder, but every time when life seemed successful and prosperous, he was betrayed.
For each of its upward rise followed a painful fall to the very bottom. Lu grew old and asked the emperor for his resignation, he hoped to find, then, peace. But he refused him in this request. It was at this moment that Lou woke up on the jade head, next to him was a monk Lew. Now Lou realized what price he would have to pay for wealth and a successful career. The young man sincerely thanked the wise old man and left.
