Summary The ninth dream of Vera Pavlovna

The Ninth Dream of Vera Pavlovna
The story recalls a detailed review of “What to do?” Chernyshevsky. It was a little late, though, a review, but it was done famously, masterfully. The heroine in the position of a toilet cleaner, who talks about philosophical matters and seeks to change the world (!) Is just as fantastic as the original source. It is known that Chernyshevsky was born in the same year (1828) as Jules Verne. Both are fantastic, but to such a degree are different… True who in childhood was not addicted? The man fantasized, composed a new technique, which later became a reality, but did not hide that he only invented his beautiful worlds. In one place, even water made minus 6 degrees Celsius. Pleasant childhood entertainment, expanding the horizon. And Chernyshevsky described some plastic people who are trying to socialize the society. And how did it all end? Or so: “What have you done?”
“Shitty apocalypse” – this could be the name of Pelevin’s work, and maybe even so: “Vera Pavlovna is the continuer of the great cause of Chernyshevsky.” But the author called the “Ninth dream…” Is it a dream? Or is it reality? No, this shit is around us, if I understood correctly Pelevin.
True, the topic is too grotesquely implemented.
