Man is born to work. “In the sweat of your face, take your own bread,” God said, expelling a man for disobedience from paradise, and since then this has become a commandment to man, and whoever shies from work sins before God. Do all kinds of work as if God ordered you, not a man. If the man did not reward you, do not grumble; But God will reward you more…

Only work with the thought that you are working for God, and not for a person, and do not look at any setbacks, even if all that you have worked has disappeared, and has not been born, hammered, do not grieve and again take to work. God does not need you to make a lot of money in this world; money will remain here. He wants you not to be lazy and working. Therefore, working here, you earn the Kingdom of Heaven, especially if you work with the thought that you work for God. Work is sacred. When you do work, say in yourself: “Lord, help!” – and every time say: “Lord, I am worthy of me to be in paradise with the righteous.” When you do the work, try to be so virtuous in your thoughts, whatever you were in the church, so that no one will hear a scolding from you, so that a comrade will not hear a rude word from you either; so that in the mutual love of all the work was done: then work is a sacred thing. Such work saves your soul. Such work here – you earn yourself the Kingdom of Heaven there. Amen.
