“Why do we need math” essays

Mathematics is a natural science that studies the world of numbers. Mathematics, unlike the humanities, does not change under the influence of political sentiments. You can rewrite history, change the rules of the native language, but mathematics is not subject to this influence. It changes only in a natural way, developing and improving. Thus, we can say that mathematics is one of the most honest sciences.
What would we have achieved, if not for mathematics. Cars, airplanes, trains and any other type of transport – all this would not have happened, if not mathematics. Because to create something you need to count this. A man could not go into space, build skyscrapers, bridges without mathematical knowledge. Even computers and the Internet are all thanks to math. Since transformations, matrices, numerical systems – all this appeared long before the century of information technology. And only then it found application in the computer field.
Mathematics is applied in almost all modern sciences: biology and microbiology, nanotechnology, mechanics and hydraulics, nuclear physics, chemistry and so on. In all these sciences you can not do without mathematical calculations. Therefore, mathematics is taught in schools from the first to the last grade. Moreover, higher mathematics is taught in higher educational and special institutions, even on humanitarian lines.
Some believe that mathematics is not useful to them in life, as by profession they do not face it. But it’s not right. Mathematical knowledge can come in handy at the most unexpected moment, even if it was not needed before. For example, if you decide to build a house or cottage, then you can not do without calculations. At what angle should the roof be made, how to calculate the amount of material, calculate the corners of the walls or the area of the building? How will you do this without mathematical knowledge? No way!
