What is more important than who to be or what to be

Of course, a person should not be indifferent to what he will become (or has already become) in this life. The future depends on what goal he sees before him, even if the goal is not achieved to the end. The higher our aspirations, the greater the result we get.
But prestigious work should not be in the first place, eclipsing everything else. Life for the sake of a career is a boring life, devoid of many bright colors due to constant employment, undermining health. Moreover, this way of life over time turns a person into a greedy, immoral slave of money, putting himself on the altar of a career. Naturally, this does not happen to everyone, and much depends on what a person is and how he is going to dispose of his wealth.
But there is a huge number of the most ordinary professions that do not bring big profits. And sometimes the work is dull, routine, uninteresting. This is where the character of a person manifests itself. Did he lose his taste for life, did he become rude,

irritable, sweeping away evil on his relatives and friends, not addicted to alcohol, broken by fate, did he lose hope for better times? Each person can be both above and below, his existence is filled with unexpected turns, pitfalls. So, both for the person and for those around him, it is important first of all what he is, whether he is able to realize himself, to catch luck by the tail, to withstand the severe trials, remaining a man. Moreover, the choice of a profession largely depends on our character.
It would be a mistake to become a teacher, not loving children, economists, without the ability to math. To properly choose a profession, you must first study yourself, identify your talents, inclinations, characteristics of character. Only this way you can find a business that you really like to do. What could be better than waking up every morning with the thought that now you will go to your favorite job.
So, the main thing is that whoever you are corresponds to what you are.
