The blockade of Leningrad

For eight hundred and seventy-two days the inhabitants of Leningrad were in captivity of hunger. He killed many, made some stronger. The feat of both of them became a tragic page in the history of the patronymic. The composition “The Blockade of Leningrad” is a tribute to the memory of modern schoolchildren in the city of the hero-hero who perished in heavy agonies from 1941 to 1944.

Taking this city in 1941 would have become a great chance for the German command to win. For the Soviet Union – the cause of serious destabilization. Having seized Leningrad, the enemy would have had the opportunity to strike at the capital from the rear, so blocking him for him was the only way out.

In the early autumn of 1941, the city did not have a sufficient supply of food. The blockade began on September 8th. Lake Ladoga became the only means of communication. But it was subjected to regular shelling by German artillery. This way began to be called Dear life. Over one

million people were evacuated, 1,500 tons of food and fuel and lubricants were transported.

Composition on the theme “The Blockade of Leningrad” – familiarizing modern children with the realization of heroic pages in the history of Russia. Many people went through the Road of Life at their own cost, and how many people died on Lake Ladoga are unknown. But even today, flying over it in a helicopter, you can see the skeletons of trucks that went under the ice in blockade winters.

At the beginning of the siege, German aviation struck several blows at the premises in which food was stored. Badaevsky warehouses were burning, and this fire cost lives to many Leningraders. In the minds of the inhabitants of the city, this event was the beginning of the famine. But then not all eyewitnesses understood what this fire means. Only representatives of the older generation, and especially those who were not born in the city and survived the Holodomor, knew firsthand about the monstrous torments that it bears. People began to stock up to the best of their ability with scanty provisions. But these actions

have saved very few people.

Surprisingly, at a time when people in the streets fell dead from the cold and hunger, the factories did not stop working. Not only adults, but even children worked within their capabilities. The two greatest forces in the history of mankind – cruelty and heroism – have been in the struggle for three years. More than one hundred thousand people died. But the heroism of the Leningraders still won. The composition of the “Blockade of Leningrad”, written by schoolchildren for many years, will not let people forget about the exploits of people who were buried in this city from 1941 to 1944. They are alive, while the memory of them is alive.

The work “Blockade of Leningrad” is a creative task, designed to develop in the emerging personality the notion of heroism and heroism. A man is easier to kill than to break his will. This is evidenced by the memories of the Leningraders.

The women were digging trenches, and the Germans in the meantime were throwing leaflets. Their text was thoroughly thought out, it implied a psychological effect on a person physically and morally extremely exhausted. The Leningraders read them, then stopped. But they did not stop digging trenches, standing at the factory machine, fighting for life. Composition on the theme “The Blockade of Leningrad” – about those whose will was not broken and whose spirit did not weaken even in the last moments of life.
