“Extreme sport” composition

Many people today are engaged in extreme sports. Perhaps the usual sports they seem too boring and uninteresting. It is also known that extreme sports help develop character and form a strong personality. There are various kinds of extreme sports, for example, rock climbing, rafting, diving, surfing, snowboarding, parachute jumping, hang gliding, bungee jumping, etc. These activities usually include speed, altitude and a good level of physical fitness. Nevertheless, they are becoming more and more popular even among beginners. Being engaged in such kinds of sports, people learn how to overcome difficult situations and how to survive in emergency situations. It also develops patience and self-control, and helps control one’s fear. More importantly, it gives a sense of achievement. I’m always scared of skydiving, but surfing and windsurfing do not seem scary to me at all. I like to practice these sports. Some people may think that they are quite dangerous and risky. They just do not know the sensations that you feel standing on the surfboard. I think only by risk, you can learn how to use the head before acting. At present, many young people consider such activities entertaining and spend their free time surfing and paragliding. At the same time, most adults believe that there are safer sports that also help develop the character. For example, swimming, football, hockey, skiing and some others. In conclusion, I would like to add that, although I do not jump with a parachute or do not dive, I admire people, who dare to engage in such sports. I think, in order to engage in extreme sports, it takes a lot of courage and inner strength.
