Composition about Ulyanovsk
Our city is small, but very beautiful. There are many attractions, parks, as well as interesting and even mysterious places.
My most favorite place in the city is the center, namely the area near the university. In summer a lot of people gather here. Who rides a bike, who walks with a dog, who cuts air on rollers, someone skates, and someone just walks. Behind the square is the embankment of the Volga River. I really like to look at this river, the ships and the ships that go along it, to the bridge, glowing with thousands of lights at night. Directly from the square you can go down the path along the path to the water. And if you cross the road and go a little further, you’ll get to the central beach.
On the square there is a unique fountain. Jets of water rise to the rhythms of music, and in the evening they are illuminated with colorful lights. In this square there are several monuments – to VI Lenin, NM Karamzin, Bogdan Khitrovo – the founder of the
If you go down the street Goncharova to the end, you can see the obelisk and a monument to those killed in the Great Patriotic War. Here, eternal fire burns, lovers meet, and also the newlyweds make flowers. A splendid view of the Volga opens here, so this is one of the favorite places for photo shoots.
There is another river in Ulyanovsk – Sviyaga. An interesting fact is that it flows parallel to the Volga, but in the opposite direction. On the bank of Sviyaga there is the largest in the region shopping center “AquaMall”, and directly from the river beats the fountain. On Sviyaga, you can often see athletes who train in canoeing and in winter skiing.
These are the neighborhoods of my hometown. Rather, it is only a small part. I really love my city and it does not cease to amaze me. I like to walk along its streets and every time to look at the neighborhood from different angles.
