Composing my room

“My house is my fortress,” as the well-known English proverb says. And really, only at home we feel cozy and peaceful. And for me my fortress is my room, where I spend a lot of time.

My room is very comfortable. There is nothing superfluous in it, everything is put in order, and a huge window gives a lot of light. Despite the fact that my room is not very large, but its space is quite enough for me.

Near the window is a light beige table. On it, almost nothing lies, because I love order and cleanliness. Only a couple of books and notebooks are neatly stacked.

Near the table is a tall, but narrow bookcase, from top to bottom filled with books. Most of these books were collected by my mother. However, among the old Soviet volumes there are also new glossy encyclopedias that my parents gave me.

At the next wall on the right is a light blue folding sofa. It is not very wide, but I have enough. At night I lay it out to sleep, and in the morning I spread it again.

Opposite the computer table is a wardrobe. It is also not very cumbersome. There, neatly stacked my things, and on the hanger hang a school suit, dresses.

Since I spend a lot of time in my room, I try to make everything clean and tidy so that nothing prevents me from concentrating on the things I need. I like my room.
