Biography of Yulia Tymoshenko


Julia Vladimirovna Tymoshenko is a statesman, politician, prime minister of Ukraine.

Education in the biography of Tymoshenko was received in Dnepropetrovsk State University. At the end I went to work in my specialty. Then she became the commercial director of such enterprises: Terminal, Ukrainian Petrol Corporation, which grew into United Energy Systems of Ukraine. In 1996, Yulia Tymoshenko became a people’s deputy, then deputy head of the Gromada party, and when Lazarenko was detained, headed the association “Fatherland”.

In 1999, Yulia Tymoshenko became vice-premier on fuel and energy issues. In 2001, she was removed from office, and as a result of the accusation of embezzlement fell under investigation. In the following month, the Kiev court of the Pechersk district dismissed charges against her. In the same year in her biography Tymoshenko was led by the BYT Electoral Bloc.

In 2004, the Russian prosecutor’s office announced an international search for Tymoshenko. However, after the “Orange Revolution” won, Yulia Vladimirovna’s case was closed at home, and later the case was closed in Russia.

In January 2005, became Acting Prime Minister of Ukraine, and the next month officially took office. After the September resignation in 2005 under the decree of Yushchenko, in the biography of Tymoshenko in December 2007, the post of prime minister was again received.
