Biography of Sara Hughes


Sarah Hughes is a figure skater, was born on May 2, 1985 in Griet Neck, New York. Biography of Sarah Hughes is known as the owner of the gold medal in figure skating at the 2002 Olympics.

Sarah surprised the world when she won gold at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games in women’s figure skating. Then she was only 16 years old. In addition, the athlete has never won at the US or world championships.

Being in fourth place after a short program, Sarah showed an irreproachable long performance. This way she went around such star figure skaters as the world champion Michelle Kwan, the Russian Irina Slutskaya, and also the young Sasha Cohen.
